A variety of activities are available for residents to enjoy and are tailored to those who live in the home. Wine tasting, cocktail evenings and afternoon shopping are just a selection of the activities, and the home provides a choice for all residents with different interests.
Meanwhile, the care team at The Rowans provide a collaborative creation approach to their care, which involves understanding their residents to ensure their physical, social, spiritual and emotional needs are met. A range of care is provided at the home which includes Dementia, End-of-life, Respite, nursing and Renablement care.
As with any care home, ensuring residents feel relaxed and in a homely environment is essential for their well-being. In keeping with the warm and stylish interior, Opera supplied the Classic Low Profiling Bed to accompany each of the resident bedrooms. The beds were specified in the new Urban Oyster Oak wood finish to perfectly complete the cosy and homely feel of the bedroom.
The Classic Low is an ideal choice for resident care and comfort. The height adjustment feature allows the bed to be raised up to assist with on-bed nursing. It also lowers down to 22cm from floor level which makes for easier access and helps minimise injury from bed falls.
